A Clean Body – Inside, as Well as Out

Since our bodies are a system of tubes through which fluids that must be kept moving, most health problems result from congestion or stagnation of any of these fluids in any part of the tubes. This is a closed system of tubes, with a specific amount of fluid in each tube. Congestion in one area means that there is too much fluid in one area and not enough in another area. For example, blood vessels bring oxygen, nutrients and hormones to all the cells of the body, and pick up waste that has developed as a result of the metabolic processes of the cells. A reduced amount of blood to one area results in a deficiency of these substances and an accumulation of toxins around the cells.

So what causes congestion or stagnation?

Our body is continually producing toxins that must be eliminated as soon as they are formed.

Most congestion – resulting in disease – is caused by these toxins building up in the body and causing damage to the tubes. Congestion is usually a blockage; stagnation is a reduced flow or movement. This is best envisioned in the bowel tube where hardened feces (congestion) is blocking the tube and the resulting damage from toxic gas buildup has damaged the muscles in the wall so that movement is reduced (stagnation).

When this happens in the blood tubes (vessels), contaminated blood is dispensed to the cells, leaving them deficient of proper food and oxygen and with a build up of waste which has not been properly carried away – by the lymphatic tubes.

So….it is important for us to get rid of these toxins as they accumulate.

Organs of elimination. We have four organs that function to rid our bodies of wastes. They are the skin, lungs, kidneys and bowels. The liver is sometimes included in this list. Each one of these organs should eliminate from one to two pounds of waste per day! It is crucial that each one of these organs function properly.

SKIN: Pores should be open. Clogged pores trap toxins and cause an over-load on the kidneys. We should sweat freely during exertion. Dry skin brushing and sweat baths help keep these pores open. Remember that we get new skin every thirty days.

LUNGS: The lungs purify the air we breathe and provide essential oxygen for every cell. Carbon dioxide must be eliminated to prevent acidosis of body fluids and tissues. Deep breathing exercises, many times during the day, will help keep the lungs functioning properly. (Slow breathe in for count of ten, hold for ten and exhale for ten)

KIDNEYS: These organs eliminate waste products of protein breakdown. They also function to maintain a proper balance of chemicals in the blood. Toxins remaining in these organs break down the tiny blood vessels that carry all the blood through them every hour of the day and night. Support them by drinking enough water and not eating too much animal protein.

BOWELS: Bowels should move freely every time we eat a meal. The movements should be loose, but with some form and pale brown in color. Constipation is not how often the bowels move, but with what consistency. Small, hard balls indicate a diet too rich in fats. A dark brown movement indicates a lack of bile from the liver. With constipation, too much water and toxins are re-absorbed back into the blood stream. These toxins then deposit in the weakest organs of the body. When wastes accumulate in the colon we have alternating diarrhea and constipation, low back pain, headaches, abdominal pain and cramps and fatigue. Most disease is a result of congested bowels, which then affect the liver and the blood stream. Undoubtedly, the epidemic of bowel cancer today is the result of the bowel not getting cleaned properly and completely.

Thanks, Julie. Glad you checked it out. I always welcome your questions. I am hoping this will be a ‘conversation’. I will try to have new articles often.
